Barns & Bills Soup

Hi From Me
Another Beautiful Sunny Day!
We went for a ride and took a few pictures
of farm help picking pumpkins out in the pumpkin fields.
Their are a lot of them around here,
along with the corn, soy beans and hay..

The men on the ground toss the pumpkins up to the men on the truck.
Very physical work and they work fast.

Fall is a very busy time in Illinois for the Farmers if their lucky and the weather cooperates

During the ride I snapped a few pictures of barns so here they are below.
Farm machinery is also every where on the country roads.

 Granierys like the picture above
 are every where around here.
Very inportant storage area's  for the farmer.

Bill made a great soup one of our favorites its below.

Pictured below Are
Some Great Old Barns from the Mid West

This one we came across as we entered the end of a road.

The one above looks very well kept up. I love the style.

All the photos were taken while riding by
so if they dont look perfect
I wasent standing still and was inside the car.

This must be the reason Im attracted to old barns.
Above is  the house
I was born in and lived in for many years
befor moving.
It always reminded me of a Barn.

All the barns were taken on the same stretch of Road. Their are many Barns out here. I live in a Big Farming area. I try to take the only old ones. Their are many that are a lot nicer looking. I will take photos of them some day. Most of them are square and newer their called pole barns..
