Hello Im In..



 I have  been trying to get into my Blogg for over two year.
 I've been wanting to start a new one. So finally here I am.





The flower is my first test to see if I still remember how to do this its been a while.

The flower above is a photo I found. I love poppies that's why I posted it.



The Grand Children and I Our latest together.
 We are all spread apart living in different states.
 So this is a rare one.

This one is from my Christmas Cactus.

I used to be pretty good at putting blogs together but I'm rusty that's for sure.

Lizzy and I sitting on the bird cage sofa befor we threw it away, it was in bad shape the weather down here is rough on out door furniture. actually anything on the outside.


I like moon shots so of course I posted one here.

 We enjoy life I know I try to..
I know we don't look like movie stars but we are happy.




We are always going to the polo field to watch the ponies, here they are exercising.
Usually they are exercising about ten to twelve together.


This one is a very old one I'm the baby being held by my sister Dorothy next to her my sister Sara.   Our father next to her our Grand mother Louise sitting next to my mother Anna. Sitting next to my Dad Thomas was my aunt Millie who was sitting on the stoop.


One of the many photo that I take of our drive way parties,we have them once a week everyone takes a turn but it doesn't always turn out that everyone takes a turn. 

Our neighbor  Lady had a paint party one evening, not everyone was able to go she was only able to allow 20 Ladies I was lucky enough to get in on this group.

 Because I have always added a recipe to my closing,

Bacon Dill Egg Salad

Bacon-Dill Egg Salad with Pimentos

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 2 oz jar diced pimento drained
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 2 Tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  • Place eggs in a large pot in a single layer. Fill with enough water to cover tops by one inch. Heat to boiling, then remove from heat and cover. Let stand 12 minutes.  
  • Drain and rinse under cool water until cool enough to handle. Peel cooked eggs and chop. Set aside.
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, pimento, Dijon, chives, relish, dill, vinegar, salt, pepper and onion powder.  Add chopped egg and crumbled bacon. Mix well.
  • Refrigerate for 4 hours. 
  • Serve on warm croissants, kaiser rolls, assorted crackers or on a bed of green leaf lettuce

Notes

After bringing eggs to a boil, allow to sit covered for 15 minutes for x-large eggs, 12 minutes for large eggs and 9 minutes for medium-size eggs.
