Happy Mothers Day 3 days early!!

Good Morning!
I hope your going to have a great day.
I made this tag especially for you thanks for stopping by.
If your a Mom I want to wish you a Happy Mothers Day
I know its a couple of days early.

Bill is making Pulled Pork a request from me.

Below is a picture of the meat right on the grill it will be about 10 to 11 hours of slow smoking be for its ready he started it last night with his special rub and refrigerated it over night each piece with the rub on and then plastic wrapped. Don't know but it must do something. This morning he got the smoker all ready with his special woods apple and hickory. Charcoal no starter he puts Paper in a special chimney and starts the coals  he never uses starter.

Its a very long process but we really enjoy the end results.
Probably about 7or 8 tonight it will be ready to pull apart.
Two of the roast are for slicing and the two shoulders are for pulling.

Here is Bills Special

 Rub Recipe

1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup paprika
2 Tablespoons of black pepper
2 tablespoons salt
1 Tablespoons of cayenne

Mix all ingredients together rub into meat about an hour be for smoking
save some of the rub to sprinkle on the meat during the smoking process.
Some time he also adds a mop sauce to the meat after it has smoked for hours and puts it in the over to get really tender and come up to temperature.
Oven temp is 225 to 250
Your meat temp should be 200 degrees for pulled pork

Mop Sauce

1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon coarsely ground pepper
1 talk spoon coarse salt
2 tsp vegetable oil

Mix well
Enjoy!

Soak woods in cold water for at least 30 minutes be for adding to hot coals.

That's all from me Enjoy
