Happy Monday!

First of all sending out prayers to my brother who is in the hospital and to our family for strength.

Yes
He is my brother and my friend!

I Hope all is well at your end of the box.
We have been busy doing projects around the house, not a lot but a few, just to keep up so every little thing doesn't get to far behind.
The girls came over Friday and power washed our deck so it could dry over night,we had perfect weather for it. Befor it rains over the weekend and the super hot weather comes in for the summer.

The next day Cindy and Brittney were coming back to waterproof it, but I wanted to surprise them.  I got out there early and finished probably the last time I do that..  I was half way through and as I was crawling around on the deck wondering why did I start that doing something like that.. (crazy) I did manage to finish, it was getting pretty hot out there. (UGH)
When I took pictures of them I hiding inside behind the window, because they will have a fit if they seen me taking there picture, doing not so glamorous project..

Im really happy with the way it turned out, it looks so nice..
Thanks for helping with the deck..

A big thank you to our Son in Law
Who came over the next day and painted 13 vents on our roof.. they look fantastic thanks so much.
They got rusty, I never heard of roof vents getting rusty..
But ours did.. figures...

Our  grand daughter Megan came over Sunday to join the party.
While she was here she made peanut butter cookies to take to work.
She left us quite a few
below is what we have left Monday.
I think you might say we liked them.

Also on Monday one of our nieces Robbie came over with chicken chili home made
 and
Bishops Chili an old favorite of Bills, he hasn't had it for years and it was a real treat for the both of us to enjoy..
Thanks again Robbie for sharing two great Chilies with us..
We thoroughly enjoyed your visit..

Sharing a couple of pictures taken by me this weekend.

Doesn't the local squirrel know hes not a bird.

Our Gardener and his worker cutting and trimming our grass.

My special pride and joy that I pampered and babied all winter in the garage
 its finally opening up.

And our beautiful ever changing sky, this one is a stormy looking one.
But beautiful in its own right.

Thank You for looking and like I always say!
Dont expect me to be perfect.
Because Im Not! that just isnt me..
I do try though...

  1. Lovely post Diane as always. Glad that you are getting things done and that life is good for you.

My friend Narelle and I were talking at Dinner on Saturday and she said how lovely your garden was.

    Love and hugs,
    Linda.
