Its New Years Eve Day our last day for 2010 now to get used to writing 2011. I sure hope its a healthier year than last year for a lot of our family members who didn't have a healthy year. here is wishing them all good health in 2011 that goes for YOU and ME as well.
We had a great day yesterday and it was fun
Aletha, Dennis, Cindy, Brittney, Julie, Steve were here to visit us.
A great visit.
Thank you guys for coming by..
We wanted to end the year right and we did with some of our favorite people.
SHRIMP DIP
1 can tiny shrimp
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 8oz cream cheese softened
1/3 cup shrimp cocktail sauce
2 Talbspoons white onion finely chopped
Combine all ingredients fold in drained shrimp.
refrigerate for 2 hours.
Serve with crackers,
Our Favorite Nachos
I large bag of white corn chips
1 LB cheddar cheese
1 LB pepper jack cheese
grate cheese together
Cover cookie sheet with foil
spread nacho chips on to cookie sheet sprinkle combined cheeses on top
bake in 350 oven 5 minutes until melted. watching closely for desired doneness.
Or place in BBQ Grill until cheese is melted
another way we do it is
put chips on paper plate and sprinkle cheese on and microwave for 1 minute or less keeping an eye for desired doneness.
One of our family favorite party snacks.
The birds were over joyed. with the thaw.
Of course the worse is hanging in the wings
All of us from the Mid West know January and February are our worse months of the year.
One final decoration to come down probably some time this week.
