First Day of the Summer.

Welcome to the first Day of Summer 2011

 I was wondering what should I say to celebrate the first day of summer.

 I did come up with a few photos.

 What summer in the Mid West is to me.

 Why!! because its the first day of Summer of course...

Because its the first day of Summer.

Of course my swing in the back ground,

 Our beautiful pink rose bush.

 I love my smoke bush

The last two years it was dying and this year it came back to life so happy about that.

Our beautiful Old reliable they never fail to return every year.

Toad stools growing in the grass.

 

What more can I say about the first day of Summer.

 tomatoes on the vine and above that garlic and red onions growing together.

And for what reason, I dont know! I was thinking maby because my niece posted a favorite pizza recipe of her daughter in law to be! on her blog, I thought Pizza is a favorite of mine and we all have our favorite place.

 laundry is waiting to be done and I have to go out and buy a pot for another unoccupied spot.

 Where we had to have a dead bush removed.

I decided to just put a great pot of flowers there..
